Spend all your time waiting. For that second chance. For a break that would make it okay. There’s always one reason. To feel not good enough. And it’s hard at the end of the day. I need some distraction. Oh beautiful release. Memory seeps from my veins. Let me be empty. And weightless and maybe. I’ll find some peace tonight. You’re in the arms of the angel. May you find some comfort there. -Sarah McLachlan

Remembering...
In the wake of the 7 year anniversary of the tradgedy that occured on September 11th, 2001 I am reminded to not take for granted the little things that matter most in life, like family.

Welcome to My Blog
I am so pleased to be finally going live with my Trees and Bees Photography website. It's still under development, with a few minor tweaks here and there, but for the most part it is looking exactly how I had hoped.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way, with advice, opinions, logo design, and encouragement. A special thanks to my logo and blog designer Carly, from Playful Pickles Designs. She was wonderful to work with, and has such a wonderful talent. If you need a logo or a blog designed for professional or personal use, give her a look first, http://playfulpicklesdesigns.blogspot.com/
In other news my Halloween Mini Session spots are filling up quickly. I am hosting them the weekend of Oct. 4th and 5th, and there are only a few spots remaining. Contact me for your reservation. It's hard to believe Halloween is approaching so quickly. Fall is one of my very favorite times of the year, the brisk air, beautiful colors, candy corn and hot cider. And it is also the perfect time for family photos, that can also be used for Christmas cards. If you'd like to book a Fall session with me, I'd advise you do so quickly, because October is already starting to fill up, and my last appointments will be taken for the first week of November, and then I figure my pregnant belly might be too big to get down to the right angle for the perfect shots. But we still have plenty of time.
Speaking of which, if you did not know already. I am expecting my second child, due in early December. A boy this time, and since I found out we were expecting I've had photographs running through my head of how I want to capture the first few weeks, months, and years of his life. So anybody with a baby, the first few weeks are the very best for newborn photographs, I'd be more than happy to be your photographer. I have been collecting lots of adorable baby props with my own babe in mind, but I'd be happy to share them with your little one.
With that pleasant thought, of little baby fingers and toes, yawns and hiccups, I will leave you with a few recent photos of my favorite girl, swinging after a picnic on Labor Day.
